UPSC NDA NA Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

• Indian citizen,
• Or a Nepalese or Bhutanese subject, or a Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before January 1, 1962, to permanently settle
• Or migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and certain East African countries (Zambia, Tanzania, Zaire, Ethiopia, Malawi, Uganda, or Vietnam) to settle in India
• Foreign nationals (except Gorkhas) will need to produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit

Unmarried Male and Female not born before 2nd July 2005 and after 01 July 2008 are eligible to apply

Educational Qualification

• Army Wing of National Defence Academy -12th or any equivalent examination
• Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy – 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

• Not allowed to marry until their training period

Physical Measurements Requirement

सेना के लिए न्यूनतम स्वीकार्य ऊंचाई 157 cmऔर वायु सेना के लिए 162.5 cm है। उम्मीदवारों को उनके क्षेत्र के आधार पर कुछ अपवादों की अनुमति है। ये अपवाद इस प्रकार हैं:

NDA NA Minimum Qualifying Marks

Both NDA NA Cutoff and minimum qualifying marks are different. Candidates have to score more than the minimum marks as well as NDA NA cutoff marks to get selected for the next selection process which is the SSB Interview. Then, the final NDA NA cutoff marks will be released out of 1800 based on the marks obtained in both the NDA NA Written Test and SSB Interview.
