भारत के सशस्त्र बलों (सेना, नौसेना और वायु सेना) में अधिकारियों की भर्ती के लिए संघ लोक सेवा आयोग (यूपीएससी) द्वारा संयुक्त रक्षा सेवा परीक्षा आयोजित की जाती है। यूपीएससी सीडीएस साल में दो बार आयोजित की जाती है और 2024 में यह 21 अप्रैल और 1 सितंबर 2024 को आयोजित की जाएगी। आधिकारिक UPSC CDS Notification 2024 आयोग की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर 20 दिसंबर 2023 को जारी की जाएगी।

UPSC CDS Eligibility Criteria
उम्मीदवारों को सभी सीडीएस पात्रता मानदंडों को पूरा करना होगा। पात्रता मानदंड में चार कारक शामिल हैं: शारीरिक मानक, राष्ट्रीयता, शिक्षा और आयु प्रतिबंध। Check below –

To join the flying branches of the Armed Forces as officers, candidates have to appear for the Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT).
UPSC CDS Exam Pattern 2024
भारतीय सेना, भारतीय नौसेना और वायु सेना अकादमी परीक्षा के लिए सीडीएस परीक्षा पैटर्न को 3 खंडों में विभाजित किया गया है, जबकि अधिकारी प्रशिक्षण अकादमी परीक्षा को 2 खंडों में विभाजित किया गया है – प्रत्येक में कुल 100 प्रश्न हैं। प्रत्येक प्रश्न 1 अंक का है। There will be a negative marking (1/3rd) of the total mark for each wrong answer.
CDS exam pattern is different for Officer Training Academy and Indian Naval Academy/Indian Military Academy/Indian Air Force i.e. Written Examination, Intelligence & Personality Interview

Steps to fill UPSC CDS Online Form 2024
- ऑनलाइन यूपीएससी सीडीएस आवेदन पत्र भरने के लिए UPSC CDS की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर जाएं।
- पृष्ठ पर, “Online Application For Various Examination of UPSC” लिंक पर क्लिक करें।
- Now click on “New Registration” tab and enter the asked details i.e. Name, Gender, DOB, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Minority Status, Valid phone number, valid email adress, 10th Class Board examination number and Security Question.
- After registration, you have to Login using email address/mobile number. An OTP will be sent respectively.
- Enter OTP, verification code and click on “Login” tab.

UPSC CDS Interview 2024
UPSC CDS Vacancies के लिए उम्मीदवारों का चयन साक्षात्कार में प्राप्त अंकों के आधार पर होता है। भारतीय सैन्य अकादमी, नौसेना अकादमी और वायु सेना अकादमी के लिए साक्षात्कार के लिए कुल अंक 300 अंक हैं, जबकि ओटीए के साक्षात्कार के लिए 200 अंक आवंटित किए गए हैं।
The SSB Interview will contain two stages – Stage 1 and Stage 2. Candidates who qualify for the stage 1 exam will be called further for stage 2.
Stage 1: It is an OIR (Officer Intelligence Rating) Test which contains Picture Perception and Description Test (PP & DT). Candidates will be shortlisted in Stage 1 as per their performance in the OIR Test and PP and DT.
Stage 2: This stage consists of Group Testing Officer Tasks, Interviews, Conferences, and Psychology Tests. These tests are organized for four days.
