What is BITSAT?

Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani conducts the BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) for admissions to engineering, pharmacy, and other similar courses at its campuses. BITS offers admission annually after qualifying the online entrance examination.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria

Students can go through the Eligibility Criteria before applying for BITSAT 2024:

Courses	BITSAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
B.Pharma	Qualification: Must have passed class 12th or its equivalent from a recognized board/ university. Subjects: Must have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with proficiency in English. Candidates with PCM will also be eligible for B.Pharma course. Marks: Must obtain at least 75% aggregate marks in PCM/ PCB and 60% individual scores in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology.
Other UG Courses (except B.Pharma)	Qualification: Passed class 12th level or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will be eligible. Adequate proficiency in English will also be mandatory. Marks: Must score a minimum of 75%. Marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects and 60% in each of these subjects individually will be required.

BITSAT Age Criteria

There is no minimum or maximum age limit for BITSAT 2024. However, those who have passed their Class 12 before 2022 are not eligible for the BITSAT 2024. This means students who have passed their 12th board in 2023 or 2024 are eligible to apply.

BITSAT 2024 Registration Fees 

While applying for the BITSAT 2024, students have to pay the non-refundable/non-transferrable fee using a debit card/ credit card/ net banking/ UPI. You can check here the expected BITSAT application fees –

• Type of Questions: Objective Type Pattern (multiple choice questions).

• Sections: There will be 4 different sections – Chemistry, English and logical Reasoning, Physics, and Mathematics or Biology.
• Marking Scheme: Candidates will be awarded 3 marks for each correct answer.
• Negative Marking: 1 mark of negative marking will be there for each incorrect response.

BITSAT 2024 Online Apply

Candidates who are going to apply for BITSAT 2024, can follow these steps to fill out the online application form –

Step 1: Registration

• First, visit the official website of BITS Pilani and register yourself by clicking on “Click Here” link available in the home page.

• Now go through the instructions and scroll down the web page.
• Then you have to click on “click here” link available beside “To Register”

• You can register yourself by entering your Name, Email ID, DOB, mobile number etc. then click on “Generate OTP” tab

• After registration, you will get a login ID and password on your registered email address.

Step 2: Filling the application form and upload the Documents

• Now, you have to log in using your previously generated ID and password.
• The BITSAT Application Form will appear on your screen.
• Fill all asked details in BITSAT Registration Form carefully i.e. personal information, academics, exam center preference, course preference etc.
• Also, upload the recent photo and signature in the specified format.

Step 3: Payment of application fee

• After uploading the documents, you have to pay the application fee through online mode, using their debit/credit card or net banking.
• if you are interested in offline payment, then download the payslip and deposit the fee in a nearby ICICI bank branch.
• enter the details of the transaction on the BITSAT application form 2024.

Step 4: Submission of the application form

• After the successful payment of the fee, check the application form and then click on the “Submit” Button.

• You can also take a printout of the confirmation page after submitting the application form for future reference.

BITSAT Cutoff

After the counseling session, BITS Pilani will release the final cutoff. The Cut-off is the qualifying score that will make you eligible for admission to BITS Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad and participating colleges. BITSAT cut-off will be released separately for each stream – Computer Science, Chemical, Electrical, Civil, Mechanical etc.
