Selection Procedure
The selection of eligible individuals for the HCS Mains Exam of the Haryana Public Service Commission will be based on their performance in the following recruitment stages –
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Written Examination
- Personality Test/Viva voce
Personality Test/Viva voce
Candidates will be only called for the HPSC HCS further recruitment process which is personality test or viva voce unless they have obtained
- a minimum of 45% marks in total of all the written papers and
- at least 33% marks in compulsory papers; each in Hindi (in Hindi Essay) and English (including English essay) papers
The final selection of eligible individuals for HCS (Executive Branch) & other allied services – 2023 will be based on a merit list that will be prepared based on total marks obtained in the Main examination and Personality Test/Viva Voce that is out of 675 marks.
