SSC CPO Eligibility Criteria 2024

1. Nationality: To be eligible, you need to be an Indian citizen. Additionally, if you’re a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, you’re in the game too.
2. Age: We’re looking for candidates between the ages of 20 and 25 as of 01-08-2024. So, if you fall into that age bracket, you’re good to go. Relaxation in age is mentioned in the official notification.
3. Educational Qualification: The academic requirement is a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. So, if you’ve got that degree in your pocket, you’re on the right track.

SSC CPO 2024 Exam Pattern

The SSC CPO Selection Process will be completed in 4 stages as follows-

• Stage I– Written exam (Paper I-MCQ type-200 marks)
• Stage II– Physical Endurance Test or PET, PST & Medical Test
• Stage III– Written test (paper II-MCQ type-200 marks)
• Stage IV– Detailed Medical Examination

In case 2 applicants will score equal marks, this will be solved by following these methods-

• Total marks in written exam
• Marks in Paper II
• Marks in Paper I
• Who is senior according to the DOB
• Alphabetical order in the 1st name of the applicants
• Both papers I & II will be of MCQ type.

SSC CPO Paper I Exam Pattern 2024

• The examination will take place in online mode i.e. computer-based
• The written examination comprises two papers Paper I and Paper II
• Paper I will appear in four parts and will have 200 questions for 200 marks.
• The duration of the Paper I exam will be 2 hours.
• The questions paper is also set in Hindi but only parts such as Part A, B, and C of the Paper I exam.

SSC CPO PET/PST Requirements

The PET test will be conducted once the candidate finishes the PST test. SSC CPO Physical Endurance Test is different for both Males and females

Below are SSC CPO Physical Test details highlighting the different activities to be performed by the candidates.

Physical Endurance Test for Male Candidates:

1. 100-Metre Sprint: The aim is to cover the distance in a swift 16 seconds. So, when that starting gun goes off, you’ve got 16 seconds to blaze through those 100 meters.
2. 1.6 Km Run: This one’s a bit of a distance challenge. You’re looking to complete a 1.6-kilometer run, and you’ve got a decent window of 6.5 minutes to make it happen. Lace-up those running shoes and keep a steady pace.
3. High Jump: Jumping over the bar, the target is set at clearing 1.2 meters. You’ve got three tries to soar gracefully over that height and impress the judges.
4. Long Jump: Here’s where you show off your leaping skills. The goal is to cover a horizontal distance of 3.65 meters, and you’ve got five chances to nail that perfect jump.
5. Shot Put (16 lbs): Get ready to flex those muscles. The target distance for heaving that 16-pound shotput is 4.5 meters. You’ve got three attempts to showcase your strength and precision.

Physical Endurance Test for Female Candidates:

1. 100-Metre Dash: We’re aiming to cover the track in a speedy 18 seconds. When that starting pistol pops, give it your all and sprint your way through those 100 meters.
2. 800-Metre Run: This one’s a bit of a distance challenge. We’re looking to complete an 800-meter run, and you’ve got a target time of 4 minutes. Lace-up those running shoes, find your rhythm, and let’s hit that goal.
3. High Jump: Time to show some airtime skills! The challenge here is to clear 0.9 meters or 3 feet. You’ve got three attempts to gracefully glide over that bar and make it count.
4. Long Jump: Get ready to stretch those legs. The aim is to cover a horizontal distance of 2.7 meters or 9 feet. You’ve got three chances to channel your inner long-jump champion.

SSC CPO Medical Test 2024

1. No Awkward Knees or Flat Feet: First things first, knock knee and flat foot are a no-go. Keep those knees straight, and your feet, well, not flat.
2. Varicose Veins and Squint-Free Zone: Varicose veins and squint in the eyes are also on the ‘not allowed’ list. Keep those veins in check, and eyes on point.
3. No Glasses or Lenses: When it comes to eyesight, leave the glasses and lenses behind. We’re checking out your natural vision here.
4. Near Vision Standards: Your eyes need to meet the mark up close. The minimum Near Vision should be N6 for the better eye and N9 for the not-so-sharp eye.
5. Distant Vision Targets: Look far, look good. The minimum Distant Vision should be 6/6 for the better eye and 6/9 for the other one.

SSC CPO Paper II Exam Pattern
