SBI Clerk Number of Attempts

Candidates can attempt the SBI Clerk exam as many times as they want. There is no restriction on the number of attempts in the SBI Clerk exam provided they are eligible in terms of age and education.

SBI Clerk Selection Process

SBI Clerk selection process is completed in three stages, Prelims, Mains and Interview. A candidate has to qualify all the three stages of the SBI Clerk exam to get selected.

Stage 1 Preliminary Exam: In this phase, candidates have to answer 100 questions in 2 hours. These questions are from Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning and 20 minutes of time is given for each section.

Stage 2 Main Examination: This is the second stage where candidates have 2 hours 40 minutes to answer 190 questions of 200 marks.

Stage 3 Interview: This is the final and final stage of SBI Clerk exam. Candidates need language fluency to pass this examination.

Steps to Apply Online for SBI Clerk

Applying for the SBI Clerk exam is a straightforward process. Candidates need to follow the specific steps with care. Find the steps given below to apply online.

Step 1: Registration

• Candidates are required to visit https://sbi.co.in/web/careers and scroll down to the ‘Current Openings’ section.
• Click on ‘Junior Associate (Customer & Sales)’ and click on apply online option.
• Here candidates enter details, i.e. full name, contact details and security code to create account in SBI Bank

Step 2: Photograph and Signature Upload

• After registering, upload passport size photo of 200*230 pixels, file size should not be more than 20 KB to 50 KB.
• Signature of the candidate on white background, with blue/black ink pen. File size should not be more than 50kb nor less than 20kb.

Step 3: Filling in an Application Form

• SBI Clerk application form is divided into two parts, Back Details Part, Personal Details Part
• In the required details section, fill the details about the background such as region, language etc.
• Fill in the Date of Birth, Education and Personal Background in the Personal Details sections.

Step 4: Details Preview and Self-Declaration

• Before you submit the application form, you will get a preview to correct spelling errors. This preview will go for final submission so it is important to make necessary changes here.
• After clicking on terms and conditions, candidates have to write a handwritten self-declaration that all the details in the application form are valid.

Step 5: Fee Submission:

• Application form fee is Rs 750 for General/OBC and Nil for SC/ST/PWD/XS.
• Candidates can pay the fee by using Credit/Debit Card or UPI.

• Time to solve SBI Prelims Exam is 60 minutes.
