NCHMCT JEE Apply for Hotel Management Entrance Exam
The NCHMCT JEE is a national-level hospitality entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency on behalf of NCHMCT for admission to undergraduate hotel management and catering technology programs (BSc Hospitality & Hotel Administration) in various institutions across the country.
NCHM JEE is held annually. The BSc (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) course is offered by NCHMCT jointly with the IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University). The NCHM JEE score is accepted by all the participating Institutes for admission to the B.Sc (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) courses offered by their respective Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs).
There are about

- 25 state IHMs,
- 1 PSU IHM, and
- 27 Private IHMs
that are affiliated to NCHMCT and offer BSc Hospitality & Hotel Administration courses and the admission is based on NCHM JEE.

NCHMCT JEE Eligibility 2024
एनसीएचएमसीटी जेईई पात्रता मानदंड के अनुसार, उम्मीदवारों को आयु सीमा, निर्दिष्ट शैक्षणिक योग्यता और शारीरिक आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करना होगा। एनसीएचएम जेईई परीक्षा 2024 के लिए आवश्यक पात्रता मानदंड यहां देखें।
- Educational Qualification
Students must have passed in Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional). Must have passed English as a Subject of study in a qualifying examination.
Candidates who will be appearing in the Class 12 exam in 2024, can also appear for the NCHM JEE entrance exam on a provisional basis. They, however, will have to submit the proof that they have passed the qualifying exam at the time of counseling or by September 30, 2024, otherwise, their provisional admission will be canceled.
- Age limit
There is no age restriction for appearing in the exam. Candidates who fulfill the above eligibility can apply for NCHMCT 2024.
- Physical Fitness
Candidates have to provide a physical fitness certificate from a recognized medical practitioner in the prescribed format.
NCHMCT JEE 2024: Reservations
In the case of Institutes that are run by the Central Government, the reservation would be applicable as mentioned below:
(i) 15% of the seats Scheduled Castes (SC) candidates
(ii) 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates
(iii) 27% seats for Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer (NCL)
(iv) 10% of the seats for General Economically Weaker Sections (General – EWS) candidates
NCHMCT JEE Application Fee
The application fee for NCHM JEE 2024, can be paid through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net-Banking / UPI / Wallet. Candidates has to pay the following sum as NCHM Application Fee

NCHM JEE Selection Process
First, candidates will have to clear the joint entrance examination conducted by NTA. Then the qualified candidates will be called for the Counseling process, in which seats will be allotted to the candidates.
NCHM JEE Exam Pattern
- NCHMCT JEE exam mode: Computer-Based Mode
- Duration of the exam: 3 hours
- Type of questions asked in the exam: Objective
- Medium of Exam: English and Hindi. While filling out the application form candidates must choose the medium of question paper carefully as it cannot be changed later.
- Marking Scheme: Each question carries 4 marks. For each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted from the total score.

Procedure to Fill NCHMCT JEE Application Form 2024
Following are the steps that should be followed to fill out the online application form for NCHM JEE 2024 –

NCHMCT JEE Mock Test
NCHMCT JEE mock tests 2024 will be based on the actual entrance exam pattern. NCHMCT JEE consists of 200 questions to be attempted in 3 hours. Candidates can familiarize themselves with the exam through the NCHM JEE mock test so that they do not face any problems on the exam day. NCHM JEE mock tests are not the actual assessment and are just for practicing.
Procedure to Access NCHMCT JEE Mock Test
- Visit NTA’s official website nta.ac.in and on the home page click on the “Mock Test” tab.
- Select “NCHM” in “Select exam you would like to appear ” and the paper number. Then Click on the “Start Mock Test” tab
- Enter your Roll Number and generated password.
- Once logged in, follow the instructions on the screen to give the NCHM JEE mock test.
- Start the mock test and analyze your preparation.
NCHMCT JEE Result
NTA will declare the NCHM JEE Result in June 2024, tentatively on the official website. Candidates can check their Results by entering their application number, roll number, and Date of birth. NCHMCT JEE Result will be valid for one year.
NCHMCT JEE Merit List
After the declaration of the result, An All India merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored in the hotel management entrance exam. In case of tie-break, the ranking will be done as follows –
- Candidates securing higher marks in the English section of NCHM JEE 2024 will be ranked higher.
- If two or more candidates secure equal marks in entrance exam as well as in the English section, then the candidate securing higher marks in the Service Aptitude section will be ranked higher.
- In case, the tie is still not resolved, then the candidate who is older in age will be ranked higher.
NCHMCT JEE Cut-Off
The final NCHM JEE Cutoff will be released for the multiple rounds regarding opening and closing ranks. The NCHM Cutoff is the minimum mark that needs to be scored to be eligible to apply for admission to participating colleges.
NCHMCT JEE Cutoff is based on
- Difficulty level of the entrance exam
- Total number of candidates who appeared for the NCHMCT JEE
- Last year’s cutoff trend.
- Total number of available seats.
NCHMCT JEE Counselling 2024
After the declaration of NCHM JEE Result 2024, NCHMCT will start the counseling procedure. The National Testing Agency will declare the counseling schedule for qualified JEE and non-JEE candidates. You can register for the counseling process on the official website. generally, the seat allotment process is done in four rounds. NCHMCT Seat allotment is based on NCHM JEE rank, category, and choice of institutes.
