CAT Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s Degree or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories],
Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply
CAT 2024: Reservation of the Seats
As per the legal requirements, the reservation of seats is as follows –
- 15% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC),
- 5% for Scheduled Tribe (ST),
- 27% for Other Backward Classes belonging to the “Non-Creamy” layer (NC-OBC),
- 10% for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)
- 5% for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD).

CAT Selection Process 2024
The admission in IIM will be based on the composite score of all the rounds along with the academic performance of the candidates. Shortlisting the eligible candidates varies for every IIM. Candidates have to visit the official website of the respective Indian Institute of Management. In general, the selection of the candidates will be based on

CAT Mock Test
On the official website, the CAT Mock Test will be provided by the conducting body. This is done to help candidates face the actual examination with confidence and also to manage timing in solving questions. By appearing in the CAT mock test, candidates can get an idea of how to move between different sections.
CAT Admit Card
The CAT admit Card will be released at the start of November 2024. After downloading the CAT Call Letter, candidates must check the details carefully. If there is any error in the CAT Hall Ticket, you must contact the conducting authority. CAT Result
