All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is a certification exam that is conducted twice a year by the Bar Council of India (BCI) for law graduates who are willing to start practicing of profession as lawyers.



After clearing the All India Bar Examination (AIBE), individuals will be awarded a certificate of practice (COP) by the Bar Council of India. Candidates with COP can attend court hearings in any tribunal courts and administrative bodies. The AIBE exam is in a multi-choice model and conducted offline.

AIBE 19 Application Fees

While applying for the AIBE 19 Exam, Candidates will need to pay the AIBE 19 application fee through offline mode. No AIBE application fee will be accepted through the online mode.

  • The Offline payment will be done through the SBI challan.
  • Once paid, the application Fee will not be refundable.

  • General/ OBC category: 3500/- (+bank charges)
  • SC/ ST category: Rs. 2500/- (+bank charges)

Process to fill AIBE XIX Application Form

The application form for AIBE XIX can be filled out from the official website by following these simple steps –

  • Go to the official website of AIBE 2024 which is allindiabarexamination.com.

  • Click on the “AIBE 19 registration” link and enter all the required details in the provided space.
  • Click tick on the declaration box and submit the AIBE 2024 registration form.
  • After submitting the details you will receive a registration number and password.
  • Now, Log in to your account and pay the AIBE 19 application fee payment.
  • After the successful submission of the AIBE 19 Application Form, download and take the printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

AIBE 19: Minimum Qualifying Marks

Following is the passing percentage for All India Bar Exam –

  • Gen/OBC: 45%
  • SC/ST and Disabled Candidates: 40%

AIBE COP (Certificate of Practice)

Candidates who will be successfully qualified in the AIBE 2024 Examination will receive the Certificate of Practice (COP). The COP is issued by BCI and is mandatory for practicing law in India. Once issued, you must submit your COP to the enrolled state bar council. The validity of COP will be for a lifetime.

Question: Is enrolment necessary to appear for AIBE 2024?

Answer: According to the general instructions provided, candidates who have enrolled themselves in the State Bar Council are eligible to appear for the examination.

Question: What do I do if I do not get an email?

Answer: If it happens, then candidates have to send an email saying OTP is not showing. Please clarify.

Question: While applying, can a candidate select the same center in all preferences?

Answer: No, you cannot select the same center. You have to choose a different center in options 2 and 3.
