संघ लोक सेवा आयोग सीमा सुरक्षा बल (बीएसएफ), केंद्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल (सीआईएसएफ), केंद्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल (सीआरपीएफ), इंडो- के लिए ग्रेड ए अधिकारियों (सहायक कमांडेंट) के लिए पात्र व्यक्तियों की भर्ती के लिए हर साल सीएपीएफ एसी परीक्षा आयोजित करता है। तिब्बती सीमा पुलिस (आईटीबीपी), और सशस्त्र सीमा बल (एसएसबी)।

UPSC CAPF Selection Procedure

The Selection of eligible candidates will be based on three rounds –

First Round	Paper-I based on General Ability and Intelligence (Objective) Paper-II based on General Studies, Essay and Comprehension (descriptive)
Second Round	Physical Ability Test
Third round	Interview/Personality Test

UPSC CAPF Exam Pattern 2024

The UPSC CAPF written examination is the first stage for the selection of eligible individuals. The exam is conducted to shortlist eligible candidates for the Physical and Medical Standards Test. The examination is held on the basis of exam pattern which is notified by the Commission in the official notification.

• Papers I and Paper II will be bilingual; Excluding English paper
• Paper I is of 2 hours duration and Paper II is of 3 Hours
• Paper I will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) with a negative marking of 0.33 marks for each wrong answer
• Paper 2 is in descriptive format
• Paper 1 is a qualifying stage exam; Paper II will only be checked for those candidates who will clear the Paper I examination

UPSC CAPF Syllabus 2024 for Paper II

This paper has descriptive questions and answers for General Studies, Essays, and Comprehensions. In Paper II 2nd part is Essay Writing and Comprehension, for Essay Writing this part you have two options for writing the Essay component in English or Hindi.
