SSC CGL Selection Process 2024

The SSC CGL selection process consists of the following four tiers –

Tier 1: Computer-based test (CBT)

Tier 2: CBT consisting of two papers:

• Paper 1 on Quantitative Ability and
• Paper 2 on English Language.

Tier 3: Descriptive paper consisting of an essay and a letter/ application writing.

Tier 4: Computer proficiency test and Data entry speed test.

The final selection of individuals for SSC Combined graduate-level vacancies will be based on their combined performance in all four tiers. The weightage of each SSC CGL tier Exam will be as follows:

• Tier 1: 25%
• Tier 2: 40%
• Tier 3: 25%
• Tier 4: 10%
