• The application fee is ₹ 100 (for Male General/OBC/EWS), there is no application fee for Women, SC, ST, Ex-Serviceman candidates.

SSC CAPF 2024 Exam Pattern

We have explained the exam pattern of SSC CRPF 2024 below. This exam is conducted in Four stages, after which you are selected, so you must understand the exam pattern well so that you can get success in the exam.

1. Written Exam (Paper 1):

• Mode of exam: Computer-based test (CBT)
• Duration of exam: 2 hours (120 minutes)
• Number of questions: 200
• Maximum marks: 200

• The marking scheme for the exam involves awarding 1 mark for each correct answer and a deduction of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

2. Physical Standards Test (PST):

The PST will be conducted to assess the physical fitness of the candidates. The PST will consist of the following events:

• Endurance test
• Speed test
• High jump
• Long jump
• Shot put

3. Written Exam (Paper 2):

• SSC CAPF 2024 Paper II will consist of 200 objective-type questions on English Language & Comprehension.
• The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

4.Medical Test:

SSC CPO Medical Test criteria:

• Candidates must not have a knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, or squint in their eyes.
• Candidates’ eye standards must be without glasses/lenses.
• Candidates’ minimum near vision must be N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye).
• Candidates’ minimum distant vision must be 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye).

If a candidate fails to meet any of these criteria, they may be disqualified from the recruitment process. However, candidates have the right to appeal to the medical board within 15 days of their medical test results.

SSC CAPF 2024 Syllabus:

Paper 1:

• General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analogies, problem solving, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, number series, non-verbal series, etc.
• General Knowledge and General Awareness: Current affairs, history, geography, culture, economic scene, politics, Indian Constitution, scientific research, etc.
• Quantitative Aptitude: Percentage, ratio and proportion, square roots, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, partnership, mixture and allegation, time and distance, cylinder, sphere, hemispheres, heights and distances, histogram, etc.
• English Comprehension: Comprehension of English and writing ability.

Paper 2:

• English Language & Comprehension: Error recognition, filling in the blanks, sentence completion, vocabulary, spellings, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, phrases and idiomatic use of words, comprehension, etc.

The Syllabus is quite broad and covers many subjects. It is important to note that the examination is highly competitive and hence it is important to prepare thoroughly for all the topics mentioned in the syllabus.

Selection Process:

The selection process for SSC CAPF 2024 will consist of the following stages:

1. Written exam (Paper 1 and Paper 2)
2. Physical Standards Test (PST)
3. Medical Test
