B.Des DAT Prelims Tie-Break Policy
In case the total marks secured by two or more individuals are equal, then the tie-breaking policy will be as follows –
- Will be preferred those who have high marks in the DAT Prelims Part B Exam
- If still, the tie does not break, then students will be preferred on the basis of marks in DAT Prelims Part A Exam
- If still, the tie does not break, then both individuals will be assigned the same rank.
Weightage for the Final Result
The weightage of preliminary and main exam final results is as follows –
- DAT Prelims Exam: 40%
- DAT Mains Exam: 60%
