AAI GATE Age Limit
For AAI Recruitment via GATE, applicants age limit should not exceed 27 years. Age limit of applicants will be calculated as on 01.05.2024. Apart from this, age relaxation will be provided as per government norms.
- The maximum age limit can be increased by 3 years for OBC (NCL) applicants.
- Age relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC and ST category applicants.
- Disabled candidates (PWD) can get maximum age relaxation of 10 years.
- Furthermore, for Ex-Servicemen, age relaxation is as per Government of India orders issued from time to time.
- Applicants currently in regular service with AAI are eligible for relaxation of 10 years in the maximum age.
- Only the date of birth mentioned in the Matriculation or Secondary Examination certificate will be considered valid, and no request for change of date of birth thereafter will be entertained.

Step 3: Uploading Photograph and Signature

- The application fee of Rs 300 is to be paid online through Internet Banking, Debit or Credit Card only from State Bank Collect System.
- Candidates must retain the 10-digit transaction reference number starting with “DU” generated after payment for future reference.

AAI Recruitment Through GATE 2024 Selection Process
AAI Recruitment via GATE 2024 selection process involves shortlisting of applications on the basis of their GATE scorecard and documentation verification followed by verification of the merit list released by the authorities.

Selected applicants for AAI posts will be entitled to pay within the pay scale of Rs 40,000 to Rs 1,40,000 with 3% increment and will be appointed at E-1 grade level.
As per AAI rules, total emoluments will consist of the following components:

- Dearness Allowance (DA)
- Perks amounting to 35% of Basic Pay
