- Offline written exam and evaluation procedure of the service.
- Those who will secure the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination will be called for assessment

UPSC SO Steno Shorthand Test 2024
- Individuals with Minimum qualifying marks in round 1 are required to take the shorthand exam.
- The shorthand test will be conducted in Hindi or English at a speed of 100 words per minute.
