SSC Stenographer 2024 Marking Scheme

SSC Stenographer Preliminary Exam consists of 200 objective type questions, each carrying a weightage of 200 marks and each question carrying 1 mark. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each negative feedback. Highlights of the marking scheme for SSC Stenographer exam are given below.

SSC Stenographer Exam 2024 Syllabus:

English Language And Comprehension:

English Language, Synonyms, Antonyms, Grammar, Vocabulary, Sentence Structure, Reading Comprehension, and Paragraph Jumble etc. In English language sections, writing ability will also be tested.

General Intelligence And Reasoning:

This paper includes verbal and non-verbal type questions. This exam includes problem-solving analysis, arithmetic reasoning, syllogism, number series, blood relation concepts, visual memory and more.

General Awareness:

This exam will let you test the candidate’s knowledge through questions based on important dates of festivals, current events, name of the author of the book, important sports days, history, general politics, Economy of India, scientific research, economic understanding, and Indian Constitution, current affairs, newspapers, etc.

SSC Stenographer Selection Process 2024

• Candidates are selected on the basis of performance obtained in written test as well as typing test.
• Minimum qualifying examination marks are decided by SSC. If candidates get equal marks then candidates will be selected on the basis of age and elder will be given priority.
• The written examination will have a duration of 2 hours for general category candidates but for visually impaired candidates it will be of 2 hours 40 minutes.

In case of equal scores, the matter will be settled by a tie. Some points to be noted in case of tie are as follows:

• Date of birth certificate will be scrutinized and older applicant will be given preference
• Select the applicant as per the marks obtained in the written examination. The one who scores more marks will be given a higher position
• Those who are above according to alphabetical order will be given higher priority

SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2024

SSC Stenographer 2024 Admit Card is expected to release on the official website of SSC in the month of September 2024. All Candidates will have to be able to download their own admit card by logging-in to their SSC account.

To download SSC Stenographer 2024 Admit Card, candidates have to enter their registration number and date of birth. Once logged in, candidates will be able to view their own admit card and they can download it as a pdf file.

Candidates must carry a printed copy of their SSC Stenographer 2024 admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre.
