RBI Assistant 2024 Selection Process
Stage 1
RBI Assistant 2024 Preliminary Exam – The first stage of the RBI Assistant selection process is the preliminary examination which is conducted in online mode. Candidates who are successful in Prelims will have to appear in the Main Examination.
Stage 2
RBI Assistant Main Exam 2024 – RBI Assistant Main Exam is the second stage of the selection process for RBI Assistant. In this stage, candidates also have to undergo biometric data capturing on the day of the main exam.
Biometric Data Capturing – Candidates’ biometric data (thumb impression or otherwise) and photograph is captured and verified on the day of the Main Examination. The decision of the authority regarding biometric data verification status (matching or mismatching) will be final and binding on the candidates.
Stage 3
RBI Assistant Language Proficiency Test (LPT) – Candidates who qualify the Main Exam will be eligible to appear in the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The language proficiency test is conducted in the official/local language of the concerned state. Candidates not found proficient in the official/local language will be disqualified.
