Reservation and Relaxation –
Reservation & Relaxation will be given to only reserved & Special categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/EXSM /Women/ Sports Person /PWBD etc) etc as per government rules and regulations. Reservation guidelines as laid down by Government of India from time to time for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD etc. shall be followed. Candidates claiming reservation under reserved categories should submit certificate as per the Govt. Prescribed format issued from the competent certifying authority.
Selection Process –
- Shortlisting based on percentage marks of qualifying examination.
- Written Test /Computer Based Test (100% Weightage) (Only for Trainee Supervisor Post)
- GATE -2024 Score marks in corresponding Paper of Electrical Engineering (EE) (Only for Engineer Trainee Post)

Note – Candidates shortlisted for the Group Discussion and Interview shall be required to bring the documents as mentioned in their interview call letter. Candidates shall be required to bring a valid photo ID to the interview. Photocopies of the original identification document shall not be acceptable. Candidates will not be permitted to appear for the group discussion and interview if original and valid photo identification is not presented along with the GATE 2024 admit card and score card.

Written Test for the Post of Trainee Supervisor Only –
Test Duration – 2 hrs. (Extra time allowed to PwD/ PwBD candidates as per GOI directives)
Questions –
Objective Type. Each question shall have four answer options.
Part-I : 120 Questions [Technical Knowledge Test (TKT)]
{will have questions from respective discipline}
Part-II : 50 Questions [Aptitude Test (AT)]
{will have questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude,
reasoning ability, data sufficiency and interpretation, numerical ability etc.}
Total : 170 Questions
All questions carry equal marks (1 mark)
Wrong and multiple answers would result in negative marks of ¼.
Minimum Qualifying Marks –
UR/ EWS – Minimum 30% in each Part-I & Part-II separately and Minimum 40% marks in aggregate
Reserved Category – Minimum 25% in each Part-I & Part-II separately and Minimum
30% marks in aggregate
