NPCIL has invited offline applications from suitable and eligible candidates with having required qualification and age group for filling up 284 vacant seat of Trade Apprentice, Diploma Apprentice and Graduate Apprentice in various trades and discipline. Interested Candidates may apply offline in prescribed proforma enclosed with copies of required documents should be sent to given office address so as to reach on or before last date. Standard of Physical Fitness for Training –
Standard of Physical Fitness –
A candidate should be free from evidence of any contagious or infectious disease. He should not be suffering from any disease, which is likely to be aggravated by apprenticeship or is likely to render him unfit for apprenticeship or to endanger of health of the public. He should be free from evidence of Tuberculosis in any form, active or healed.
The Candidates should have the following minimum standards:
Height – 137cms and above, Weight – 25.4 kg and above,
Chest expansion – 3.8 cms.
Note – The engagement of the apprentice is subject to his/her being declared medically fit by the Competent Authority as per the requirement of Corporation.
Category Wise Vacancy Reservation Status
Age Relaxation –Age Relaxation in upper limit will be given to only reserved categories as per government rules and regulations. Note – The Candidates seeking age relaxation as per Govt. Guidelines will be required to submit copies of necessary certificate(s) at any subsequent stage of the selection process, as required by the NPCIL.

Reservation and Relaxation –
Reservation & Relaxation will be given to only reserved & Special categories (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWBD etc. ) as per government rules and regulations. Reservation guidelines as laid down by Government of India from time to time for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD etc. shall be followed. Candidates claiming reservation under reserved categories should submit certificate as per the Govt. Prescribed format issued from the competent certifying authority.
Note – Preference will be given to the applicants belonging to neighbouring villages (within 16 kms radius) around the Plant Site. In case, all the given trades/disciplines are not filled/met by the applicants belonging to neighbouring villages, merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in that particular trade/discipline for selection from other applicants who do not belong to the neighbouring villages.
