NMIMS DAT 2024: Apply online till 21st April 2024
NMIMS is a deemed-to-be university that is conducting NMIMS DAT 2024 for admission to Bachelor in Design (Humanising Technology). The program is designed to teach students how to face and solve the challenges in design in this modern world.
B.Des. Program
The year I & II are the foundation program. In these two years, candidates have to familiarize themselves in multi-skilling and multi-disciplinarity. In year III (Project Centric Program), the application and practice of these learnings in emergent technology whilst interrogating one’s learning. And the last year is professionalizing. Students will be Professionalising through an industry internship and an industry-relevant capstone project as well as a dissertation.
Students who have passed their graduation program can further study post-graduation courses in design in the country or abroad, as the degree is internationally recognized as well.

NMIMS DAT Eligibility
- Individuals must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination of any stream. They should also have obtained at least 50% marks of the total from any recognized Board.
- Candidates should have an International Baccalaureate Diploma (I.B. certificate / & D.P. awarded candidates) and have cleared their I.B. exam with 24 credits (compulsory) and passed 3 H.L. & 3 S.L. mandatorily in any stream from any recognized board.
- Those who have completed their 10+2 overseas, have to submit an AIU certificate to confirm their eligibility
- Candidates must not exceed 25 years of age.
NMIMS DAT Application Fees
Candidates have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 2000. The application has to paid in online mode.
NMIMS DAT Program Fees
The Program fee for the 1st year (batch 2023) was Rs. 4,55,000/- per annum and for the batch 2024, it will be declared at the time of admission. If a candidate chooses to withdraw from the program of study then the institution will follow the following 5-tier system for fee refund

NMIMS DAT Admission Process
Step 1: Online registration and payment of Application Fees (Online)
- After this, candidates have to keep ready their profile that will be submitted during the Personal Interview rounds.
- The authority will make available call letters on their dashboards for studio tests, personal interviews and submission of portfolios.
- Candidates have to download the call letter and then take the printout while attending studio test and personal interview
Step 2: Appear for Studio Test (Offline)
- Studio Test will consist of Part A MCQ: 20 minutes and Part B Design Challenge: 60 minutes
- In the studio test, candidates will be prohibited from using their scale
- Requirements: Cartridge paper A3 size and Pencil HB/2B, 4B/6B, erasers, sharpener, pencil colors, Sketch pens, etc.
Step 3: Personal Interview and Portfolio Submission (Offline)
- Candidates have to submit the hard copy of their portfolio to the personal interview panel as soon as they enter the personal interview room as per the time allotted.
- Studio Test, Personal Interview, and submission of portfolio will be done on the same day.

Candidates can apply for NMIMS DAT 2024 by filling out the online application form till 21st April 2024. Follow these steps carefully to register for NMIMS DAT 2024 admission –
Step 1: Registration

Then click on the ‘Apply now’ tab
You will be directed to another web page.
Fill in the required details and then, you have to click on the “Register” button.
Step 2: Login
After submitting the details, candidates will get their login credentials like application/registration number and password.
