The selection of candidates will be direct recruitment as follows –
Category No. 572/2023: Open Market
Category No. 573/2023: From among the Graduate Ministerial staff of Police and Vigilance Department, Fingerprint Experts, Fingerprint Searchers of the Fingerprint Bureau who had completed two years of service in Police/Vigilance Department
Category No. 574/2023: From among the Graduate Police Constables, Head Constables, and officers of corresponding rank in the Police and Vigilance Department.
Category No. 575/2023: Open Market
Category No. 576/2023: Constabulary [Direct Recruitment from among the Graduate Head Constables, Police Constables, and officers of corresponding rank in the Police or Vigilance Department]
Kerala Police Recruitment Eligibility
Required Educational Qualification
Candidates who have a Graduation degree in any discipline can apply for these Kerala Police Vacancies.
In the case of SC/ ST candidates, if a sufficient number of fully qualified candidates are not available, applications of candidates who have passed Pre-University/ Pre-Degree or equivalent Examination of a recognized University shall be considered only to fill up the quota reserved for them under Category (Open Market).
Required Age Limit
- Category Open Market: 20 years to 31 years. Only candidates born between 02.01.1992 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included).
- Category Constabulary: 20 years to 36 years. Only candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.
- Category Ministerial: Should not have completed 36 (Thirty-six) years of age as of 01.01.2023.

Other Physical Requirements
- Each eye must have a full field of vision.

- Must be free from apparent physical defects like Knock-knee, Flat Feet, Varicose veins, Bow legs, Deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing
- Candidates should produce a medical certificate in original at the time of physical efficiency test/certificate verification in the form prescribed in the official notification certifying to their physical fitness and eyesight without glasses obtained from a Medical Officer not below the rank of a Civil Surgeon

Selected candidates will get a Scale of pay Rs. 45,600 – Rs. 95,600 accordingly. Also, during training and probation candidates will get stipends according to government rules.

Kerala Police SI Recruitment: Admit Card
If the commission will conduct a written test/OMR/online test as a part of Kerala Police SI Recruitment then, candidates have to submit the confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration Profiles. For such candidates, the commission will release admission tickets before 15 days of the examination.
