Selection Procedure
The selection of individuals will be based on the following stages. Individuals have to clear each stage to appear for the next stage. The prelims exam has already been conducted and now the qualified individuals will have to appear for the Main Examination.

APPSC Group 2 Cutoff Marks
To clear the Andhra Pradesh PSC Examination, candidates have to score the minimum qualifying marks. The commission has announced the minimum qualifying marks required for each category in the official notification.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
- Open competition, Sports Persons, Ex-Servicemen & EWS: 40%
- Backward Class: 35%
- SCs, STs & PBDs: 30%
Only obtaining the minimum qualifying marks does not guarantee the selection for Group 2 Services. Candidates have to fulfill the other eligibility criteria like qualification, number of individuals qualified, marks obtained in the exam, etc. according to the government norms.
