UPSC SO Steno Shorthand Test

  • Candidates who pass round 1 will proceed to the second round i.e. the shorthand test.
  • The Shorthand test is a dictation challenge in English/Hindi at 100 words per minute.
  • You must transcribe the dictation within the 40/55 minutes.

UPSC SO Steno Evaluation Procedure

  • Last stage of the SO Steno Recruitment Procedure is the evaluation, worth 100 marks.
  • Those who clear Rounds 1 and Round 2 will proceed to the final stage.
  • Marks earned in the service record evaluation determine the ranking of individuals.
