How to Apply for IBPS PO Recruitment Form 2024
Step 1: IBPS PO Registration
- Go to www.ibps.in and find the PO Registration link on the homepage.
- Click “New Registration”
- Enter Name and Contact Details
- A provisional registration number and password is sent to the mobile number and Email ID of the candidate.
Step 2: Upload Photograph and Signature
- The next step is to upload a photograph and signature as per the given guidelines.
Step 3: Fill Application Form
- In the next step, candidates are given a detailed IBPS PO application form, where they have to fill their basic details like personal details, address, category, nationality, exam center preference etc.
Step 4: Preview the Application
- In this stage, the candidates have to double check, edit and validate all the details filled in the form.
Step 5: Upload Left Thumb Impression and Handwritten Declaration

Age limit for IBPS PO 2024 is between 20 to 30 years, subject to the following relaxations:

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection introduces separate sectional timings for each section in the IBPS PO preliminary exam. IBPS PO 2024 Interview
After qualifying the written test, selected candidates are called for interview. This is the last stage of the selection process of IBPS PO 2024. The interview round carries a total of 100 marks. The questions asked usually relate to the areas of Banking and Finance, General Awareness, Current Financial Developments etc.
IBPS PO 2024 Selection Process
The Selection Procedure of IBPS PO 2024 Conducted in 3 stages, namely:
- Preliminary Exam
- Main Exam
- Interview
1. Preliminary Exam
It consists of three tests/sections and candidates have to qualify in all three tests separately by obtaining minimum cut-off marks. Candidates who qualify the preliminary exam appear for the main exam.
2. Main Exam
It contains five tests/sections. Every candidate must also obtain minimum marks in each test and minimum total cut-off score to be shortlisted for interview. This score is revealed only after the interview process is completed.
3. Interview
On successfully qualifying the main examination, the shortlisted candidates are called for interview. Candidates have to score minimum cut-off marks to qualify this round.
The final selection is based on the merit list prepared by considering the total marks obtained in Online Main Examination and Interview in the ratio of 80:20 respectively. After securing the minimum cut-off marks in the main examination and interview and successful document verification, candidates get provisional allotment letters based on their marks, vacancies in each bank and candidates’ choice.
IBPS PO 2024 Admit Card
Admit card or call letter is an important document, which contains all the details about the candidate and the examination centre, date and time. Every candidate must download IBPS PO Admit Card from the official website of IBPS for all three stages and present the same at the time of examination/interview. IBPS PO 2024 admit card is expected to be released in September for prelims and in November for mains. however, these months are temporary.
To download admit card, candidates need to follow these steps:
- Go to IBPS official website.
- Click on the “Download Online Call Letter for IBPS PO/MT” link displayed on the home page.
- A login page will open. Log in to IBPS account using the credentials generated at the time of registration (registration number and date of birth).
- IBPS PO Admit Card will display on the screen.
- Download and print admit card.
IBPS PO 2024 Result
The result for each stage of IBPS PO exam is published separately on the official website of IBPS. The result is released in the form of a PDF which contains the list of roll numbers of candidates who have qualified for the next round while the scorecard is there. Which is issued after the result, is an individual document which contains the total marks, sectional marks and sectional cut-off obtained by the candidate.
Candidates will download their results and scorecard from the official website when it published by IBPS, using their login credentials- Registration Number and Date of Birth. The final scorecard is issued for all the candidates who have appeared for the interview which also includes section-wise marks and cut-off marks for the main examination. IBPS PO 2024 final scorecard will be released tentatively in the month of April 2025.
