UPSC IFS Vacancy 2024 Details
The number of IFS vacancies is 150 approximately as per the official UPSC IFS Notification 2024. सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित रिक्तियों के संबंध में Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Section and Person with Benchmark Disability Categories के उम्मीदवारों के लिए आरक्षण किया जाएगा।
UPSC IFS Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, and Zoology
Or
A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification

Procedure to Apply for UPSC IFS Vacancy 2024

Step 2: Under the “Examination” section, “Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination, 2024 through CS(P) Examination 2024” पर क्लिक करें।
Step 3: Link पर क्लिक करने के बाद, आपकी स्क्रीन पर IFS Vacancy Registration Form खुलेगा।
Step 4: पूछी गई जानकारी को सही से भरे। Application form submit करने के बाद आपका Login ID और password generate हो जाएगा।

Step 6: ID और पासवर्ड का प्रयोग करके लॉगिन करें

IFS Exam Pattern
संघ लोक सेवा आयोग, Prelims और Mains परीक्षा दोनों ऑफ़लाइन मोड में आयोजित करेगा। IFS प्रारंभिक परीक्षा objective होती है, जबकि मुख्य परीक्षा descriptive होती है। There will be negative marking (-1/3) for Prelims examination.
