TS TET Exam Pattern 2024

Candidates must check additional information on TS TET Exam Pattern 2024 to understand better details.

  • Candidates have to select Language-I for Paper-I and Paper-II from among the languages offered for TS TET Exam 2024. The subjects offered in Paper-I are – Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Hindi, Bengali, Urdu and Gujarati and in Paper-II – Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi and Sanskrit. The candidate must have studied the Language-I chosen as the medium of study or as the first language up to at least Class 10.
  • Language-II of the candidates must be English.
  • The syllabus of Mathematics and EVS in Paper-I is based on Class 1-5, however, the difficulty level of the material and topics will be of secondary level (up to Class 10th) to test the aptitude and knowledge of the students.
  • There will be 24 questions based on content in Mathematics and EVS section and 6 questions on subject pedagogy.
  • Out of 30 questions under Language-I and Language-II sections of Paper-I and Paper-II, six questions each will be from Language Pedagogy respectively.
  • The content of Child Development and Pedagogy will be based on primary stage and primary stage in Paper-I and Paper-II respectively.
  • For Mathematics and Science section in Paper-II, there will be 30 questions on Mathematics, of which 6 will be from Mathematics Pedagogy. The Science section is divided into three parts – Physics (content-based 12 questions), Biological Sciences (content-based 12 questions), and Science Pedagogy (6 questions).
  • For Social Studies section in Paper 2, questions will be on History, Civics and Geography. In this section, out of total 60 questions, 48 questions will be content-based and 6 questions will be on subject pedagogy.
  • The syllabus of Maths and Science and Social Studies in Paper-II will be based on the subjects of class 6-8.
  • The objective of the syllabus of Language-I and Language-II in Paper-I and Paper-II will be to test the candidates’ communication and comprehension abilities and proficiency in language and elements of languages.
