Latest Update on 19-06-2024!

The earlier Railway Loco Pilot Vacancies have now been increased from 5696 to 18799. The increment is due to the additional demand for posts from the zonal railways. The Railway Recruitment Board will soon declare notification regarding the breakup of these vacancies as well as provide an opportunity to revise their choice of RRB accordingly.

The tentative exam schedule has been announced for Computer-Based Tests (CBT 1 and CBT 2) on the official website. According to the schedule, CBTs are expected to be held in June and September 2024. The next cycle for Railway Loco Pilot vacancies will provisionally start in January 2025.

According to the latest Railway Loco Pilot Vacancy Notice, to provide relief to individuals who have become over-aged and have missed opportunities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Candidates have been provided relaxation at the upper age of 3 Years as a one-time measure.

असिस्टेंट लोको पायलट परीक्षा रेलवे भर्ती बोर्ड (आरआरबी) द्वारा संचालित की जाती है। आरआरबी एक सरकारी एजेंसी है, जो रेलवे में ग्रुप सी और ग्रुप डी अराजपत्रित सिविल सेवा और इंजीनियरिंग पदों के लिए भर्ती आयोजित करती है। आरआरबी एक भर्ती नीति बनाता है जो गतिविधियों और व्यय की निगरानी करती है और कार्यबल पर नजर रखती है। यह आरआरबी द्वारा की जाने वाली प्रबंधन सूचना प्रणाली का प्रबंधन भी करता है।

Railway Loco Pilot Application Fee

Candidates have to pay the application fee online mode, offline mode, or through the post office as follows –

  • ONLINE fee payment through Internet banking or debit/credit cards
  • OFFLINE fee payment through SBI Bank Branch for Challan Payment mode
  • Post Office Challan Payment mode in any branch of computerized Post Office

Candidates will get refunded 400 for general and 250 for others, after appearing in Railway ALP CBT 1 Exam.

After submitting your Railway Loco Pilot Application form, if there is any error in the filled details, then you can correct your application form by paying the fee of Rs. 250.
