KAU Eligibility Criteria – 

Name of Post	Educational Qualification	Age Limit (As on 01st January, 2024)
Assistant Professor	For the above said discipline 1 to 7, Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture and Master Degree in concerned discipline with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent OGPA from the Universities recognized by KAU For above said Discipline No. – 08, Candidate must have passed Graduate degree in Agricultural Engineering and Post Graduate Degree in any discipline in Agricultural Engineering with minimum 55% marks or equivalent OGPA from Universities recognized by KAU. For Post 9, Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Master’s Degree in any discipline in Veterinary Sciences with minimum 55% marks or equivalent OGPA from Universities recognized by KAU. All the applicants should have qualified NET Conducted by ICAR in the concerned discipline. Those who have been awarded a Ph.D in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil /Ph.D Degree) Reulation, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time will be exempted from NET. Candidates with Ph.D in concerned discipline and Teaching Experience will be given due weightage in selection process.	Maximum – 40 years
