आँगनवाड़ी सेविका / सहायिका चयन हेतु विज्ञापन प्रकाशन की तिथि को बिहार राज्य निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा घोषित पंचायत चुनाव / नगर निकाय चुनाव के लिए निर्धारित वार्ड की आरक्षित कोटि के अंतर्गत जो महिला आती हो वही आँगनवाड़ी सेविका / सहायिका चयन के लिए योग्य होंगी।
रिक्त वार्ड की आरक्षित कोटि में योग्य महिला अभ्यर्थी के उपलब्ध नहीं होने पर क्रमानुसार अनुसूचित जनजाति / अनुसूचित जाति / अतिपिछड़ा वर्ग (अल्पसंख्यक सहित ) / पिछड़ा वर्ग (अल्पसंख्यक सहित ) / सामान्य वर्ग (अल्पसंख्यक सहित ) के उम्मीदवार को चयनित किया जायेगा।
