NIFT Exam Pattern
Mode of NIFT Exam: GAT (General Ability Test) will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and CAT (Creative Ability Test) will be conducted in Paper Based Test (PBT) mode.
There are some changes in the NIFT B.Des Exam Pattern and NIFT B.F.Tech Exam Pattern, while for others, there is no change. In the GAT exam, for every wrong attempt, there will be a deduction of 25% of the total marks, so attempt carefully.

NIFT CAT Exam Pattern
- Test type: Pencil-and-paper-based exam.
- Duration: 3 hours
- Skills evaluated: Intuition skills,

- It will also test the creative as well as innovative use of color and illustration skills of candidates.
- There is no Negative marking for CAT Paper.
