Preparation of NEET Merit List 2024
The merit list for NEET 2024 will be prepared based on –
- The test percentile score will be prepared based on the relative performances of all the qualified individuals in the respective sessions. The highest score in each session will be the 100th percentile.
- The 03 best score from the 04 sections will be considered for the merit list which means the worst score from the 04 sections will not be considered for merit list calculation.
- The total marks for NEST 2024 is 180
NEST Minimum Admissible Percentile (MAP)
To get a merit rank, individuals have to score equal to or above the minimum admissible percentile (MAP) for NEST 2024. Those who score MAP less, then they will not be allotted any merit rank
- For general category candidates – MAP is 95 percentile.
- For OBC candidates – MAP is 90 percentile.
- For SC/ST/Divyangjan candidates – MAP is 75 percentile.
