HPSC Eligibility Criteria –

Assistant Professor	Good Academic Record with a Master’s  Degree in Related Subject with 55% Marks (or and equivalent grade in a point- scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned / relevant / allied subjects from Any Recognized University in India or and equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University Knowledge of Hindi / Sanskrit Upto 10th Standard or in Higher Education A. The National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) or a similar test accredited by the IJGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grant Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Au,ard of M.Phil / Ph.D Degree) Regulation, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. For Subject Wise Eligibility Details Read Notification. You are advised to check the notification link for details of the discipline wise educational qualification/eligibility of the posts.	Candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 42 years, as on before the 15 days of the month next preceding the last date of submission of application to the Commission i.e. 15.07.2024. The Recruitment process includes a Screening Test and a subject Knowledge Test. The Screening Test consists of 100 MCQs with a duration of 02 hours and a total of 100 marks. The Subject Knowledge Test will have 150 marks and will last for 03 hours. The medium of examination varies by subject, including bilingual.
