Note –
- The minimum qualification stipulated for the posts must be from an Institute / Examination Board recognized by AICTE / appropriate statutory authority / State / Central Government.
- Those applicants having qualifications equivalent to any of the prescribed qualifications should submit Equivalency Certificate issued by the competent authority and without such certificate, their candidature shall not be considered.
- Experience acquired after the date of passing of the qualification stipulated as per the above requirements shall only be considered. Period of post qualification experience shall be reckoned as on 29 November 2024.
Age Relaxation –Age Relaxation in upper limit will be given to only reserved categories as per government rules and regulations. Note – The Candidates seeking age relaxation as per Govt. Guidelines will be required to submit copies of necessary certificate(s) at any subsequent stage of the selection process, as required by the Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) Company.

Reservation and Relaxation –
Reservation & Relaxation will be given to only reserved & Special categories etc as per government rules and regulations. Reservation guidelines as laid down by Government of India from time to time for SC/ST/OBC/etc. shall be followed. Candidates claiming reservation under reserved categories should submit certificate as per the Govt. Prescribed format issued from the competent certifying authority.
Selection Process –
The method of selection shall be through Practical/Physical tests which shall be given 100% weightage as detailed under and marks awarded accordingly for final selection:-

- The minimum pass mark each for Physical and Practical test shall be as below:-
For unreserved posts and EWS candidates – 50 % of Total Marks of each test,
For OBC Candidates – 45 % of Total Marks of each test only for vacancies reserved for OBC, For SC/ST Candidates – 40% of Total Marks of each test only for vacancies reserved for SC/ST.
Exam / Document Verification Date /Centre – will be notified on official website later. . The tests shall be held at CSL, Kochi.
