Age Relaxation –Age Relaxation in upper limit will be given to only reserved categories Candidates of only Bihar State with having Bihar State Domicile Certificate as per state government rules and regulations. Note – The Candidates seeking age relaxation as per Govt. Guidelines will be required to submit copies of necessary certificate(s) at any subsequent stage of the selection process, as required by the BPSSC.
Note –
1.बिहार के वैसे सरकारी सेवकों को उच्चतर वेतनमान की सेवा/संवर्ग में जाने के लिए प्रतियोगिता परीक्षाओं में भाग लेने हेतु अधिकतम आयु सीमा में 05 वर्ष की छूट दी जाएगी, जिन्होंने नियमित सेवा में न्यूनतम तीन वर्षो की अवधि पूरी कर ली हो ।
2.असैनिक पदों पर नियुक्ति हेतु भूतपूर्व सैनिकों को अधिकतम आयु सीमा में 03 वर्ष तथा प्रतिरक्षा सेवा में बिताई गई सेवा अवधि के योग के समतुल्य रियायत दी जाएगी बशर्ते कि उनकी वास्तविक उम्र कट-ऑफ तिथि को 57 वर्ष से अधिक नहीं हो।
3.दिव्यांगता के आधार पर सभी कोटि की अधिकतम आयु सीमा में 10 वर्षों की छूट प्रदान की जायेगी ।
Reservation and Relaxation –
Reservation & Relaxation will be given to only reserved & Special categories (SC/ST/OBC/EXSM/EWS/ Women/PWBD etc.) Candidates of only Bihar State with having Bihar State Domicile Certificate as per government rules and regulations. Reservation guidelines as laid down by Government of India from time to time for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/EXSM/PWBD etc. shall be followed. Candidates claiming reservation under reserved categories should submit certificate as per the Govt. Prescribed format issued from the competent certifying authority. Candidates other than from Bihar State will be not given any relaxation and treated as General Category Candidates
Selection Process –
- Written Test:
- Two objective question papers.
- Paper I: General Hindi (Total – 100 marks, 100 Question and Duration 1.5 hours).
- (Minimum Qualifying Marks in General Hindi – 30 Marks, only qualifying nature, will not added in merit list)
- Paper II: General Knowledge, current affairs and Reasoning (200 marks, 100 Questions and Duration 2 hours).
- Negative Marking for wrong answers.
- Skill Test:
- Shorthand Test: 80 WPM in Hindi (05 Minutes), transcription speed of 30 WPM on a computer.(20 Minutes)
- Typing Test: Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM in Hindi & 30 WPM in English (10 Minutes)
- Computer Skill Test ( MS Office – Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet)

Note – अंतिम मेधा सूची हेतु अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसूचित जनजाति, महिला वर्ग एवं सभी कोटि के दिव्यांगजन अभ्यर्थियों के लिए न्यूनतम अर्हतांक 32 प्रतिशत, पिछड़ा वर्ग के अभ्यर्थियों के लिए 36.5 प्रतिशत, अत्यंत पिछड़ा वर्ग के अभ्यर्थियों के लिए न्यूनतम अर्हतांक 34 प्रतिशत तथा सामान्य वर्ग के अभ्यर्थियों के लिए न्यूनतम अर्हतांक 40 प्रतिशत होगा।
